Fairgrove, Michigan

  | The first settler in the area was Amasa Clay in 1852. He became the first postmaster of Fairgrove. The name came from a grove of trees that stood just west of the present village. Fairgrove is located in Tuscola County. It is a short distance south of Akron and shares the same school system.
